The Apple ecosystem has become the standard for company IT departments as it continues to expand in different industries.

Having reliable hardware is important for IT professionals when considering the hardware that runs the software and applications of an organization. The productivity and functionality of the organization may be affected, as well as the costs of repairs if the hardware is unreliable or prone to failure.

Notably, Apple has made a mark in companies in recent years since the need for remote and hybrid work arose. The Apple ecosystem is a good example of how technology positioned itself well during the pandemic to expand its enterprise market share.

It has navigated supply chain challenges better than anyone, as Apple has built out the tools needed for IT to be successful, and here’s why.

Zero-touch Deployments for Company IT Teams

IT teams have experienced a lot of change over the previous few years, especially due to the work trends that came from the pandemic. Employees are seeking more freedom and less of a typical “office” environment, clients are trying to outsource IT services and bring them in-house, and new technology enables better access to information.

According to 9to5Mac, this is especially evident in Apple’s investment in its management technologies over the last decade, which has continued to improve the efficiency of how Apple IT admins manage their fleet of devices.

Now, IT sectors can utilize Apple’s device management technology, which includes Apple Business Manager, Apple School Manager, and its device management APIs. The development of these programs allows IT managers to set up, monitor remotely, and protect devices and manage users and their access to apps and services.

An entire department IT setup of Macbooks can be deployed just as easily as a single one, thanks to Apple’s technology for IT administrators. Everything can now be set up instantly and remotely, from the first unboxing to the final retirement.

Apple Offers the Best Cybersecurity Defense

Aside from the convenience of its IT management systems, SupportMyMac reports that Macbooks are safer than PCs. Apple is typically less the target of hackers and cybercriminals and receives fewer viruses.

Their structurally sound macOS operating system offers solid defense against most threats, and cyber defense should be at the top of any business’s list of priorities.

According to InfoWorld, IT companies pay an average of $2000 to $2300 for each user per year just to secure their PCs, thus concluding that Macbooks are easier and cheaper to manage.

Apple Ecosystems in Different Industries

Apple devices were typically linked with creative industries such as graphic design and marketing. However, due to the companies expanding their device capabilities and features, more industries have started to integrate Apple into their hardware.

Apple products suit the needs of many businesses, which include the following:

  • Health Care
  • Real Estate
  • Legal Law
  • Associations
  • Non for profits
  • Technology Companies
  • Government
  • Transportation
  • Manufacturing
  • Engineering
  • Education
  • Finance and Insurance
  • Construction
  • Retail
  • Restaurants
