Christmas came a couple of weeks early for Sky subscribers as the British telco company is giving out cool perks and freebies.

A report from Express UK tells us that Sky is dishing out free TV to its customers, along with freebies that include access to sports, entertainment, movies, and Apple TV+.

Exciting Perks for Sky Subscribers

Yes, you read that right. If your home is connected to Sky, you are up for many high-value perks this coming holiday. One of the highlights of these offerings from the top satellite TV provider is full access to Apple TV+ for six months.

Apple TV+ is the Cupertino company’s streaming service platform. It has already picked up steam for its exclusive content, which the world currently enjoys. Recent figures from the company highlight its rise as a platform, putting it on par with industry titans like HBO Max, Disney+, and Netflix.

This streaming service, which features exclusive award-winning series such as Ted Lasso and Charlie Brown holiday specials, usually costs £6.99 or $8.57 per month. Still, anyone with Sky VIP will not have to pay a penny until summer 2023. If you are a Major League Baseball (MLB) fan, it is also free to access with Apple TV+.

To redeem the free Apple TV+ access, customers will only have to open the My Sky app.

More Freebies

As previously stated, Sky is offering a number of freebies. Aside from Apple TV+, homes subscribed to Sky are also entitled to a discounted price on Sky Store movie classics.

The Sky is giving away two classic films until Dec. 31, with users able to choose from the Jim Carrey classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and rom-com favorite “Love Actually,” starring Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, and Colin Firth.

Are you interested in a holiday night binge-watch party? These blockbuster films are available to download on the Sky Store on your set-top box.

Additionally, Sky Showcase is reportedly adding more content for free for all Sky TV customers between Dec. 12 and Dec. 27. Sky Showcase will not only be featuring interesting classics. Users should also watch out for films like “Elf,” “The Polar Express,” and “A Boy Called Christmas” along with some top-flight football action and the “Cazoo World Darts Competition.”

Sky Talk has also revealed that it will give out free calls to UK and international landlines and mobiles for consumers throughout Christmas day. With the offering, users can chat without worrying about piling up an enormous bill.

Those with Sky Mobile contracts will also get free access to data on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, indicating they can video call and post countless selfies on social media without being costly.

Suppose that is not enough for holiday entertainment. In that case, Express UK tells us that Sky is also offering discounts on Sky Stream, Sky Q, and broadband bundles. Check them out here.

Word of these holiday gifts comes as Sky has just unveiled a major upgrade to its Sky Glass TV.
