Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Cinematic Explores the Backstory of Solas

As part of the Dragon Age day celebrations this weekend, developer BioWare has released a new video from the upcoming Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.

The video shows a “work-in-progress” cinematic from Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, which dives into the backstory of a major character in the Dragon Age universe – Solas.

First introduced as a party member in Dragon Age: Inquisition, Solas was later revealed to be the elven god Fen’Harel, and this new cinematic gives us a quick introduction into this backstory, and how it may impace the latest Dragon Age game.

BioWare recently revealed that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has reached alpha, meaning it’s fully playable from beginning to end. Perhaps we’ll be seeing more of the actual game in the coming months, then? You can check out the new video below.
