Genshin Impact has been around for over two years now and Hoyoverse has served travellers with countless updates featuring new characters, playable areas, quests, and an ever-expanding story. The recent updates saw the addition of the Dendro element, the Sumeru area, and a horde of new heroes.
On October 2nd, Hoyoverse also hosted the Genshin Concert 2022, called Melodies of an Endless Journey, where HOYO-MiX collaborated with the renowned composer Shiro Sagisu and the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra. The event was based on Teyvat’s gorgeous musical landscape.

The celebrations continue as today Hoyoverse has also released a new Genshin Impact story documentary that commemorates everything that has transpired over the last two years. It is a five-minute video which consists of all the memorable encounters fans and players have experienced within and outside the game.
A month ago, the developers had begun the #EndlessJourney campaign on the HoYoLAB gaming community forum, where players submitted more than 150,000 Genshin Impact stories over the last few weeks. From here, a few were picked and added straight into the documentary, while many others were featured in iconic locations and on outdoor banners.
In this little movie, fans will witness a bunch of numerous offline events over the last two years as a way to signify the relationships that were formed with players. Travellers will also find Teleport Waypoints on top of the Alps, in shopping centres, busy streets, and in lots of corners all over the world.
A number of these moments were also displayed at the Han River Festival and in lots of other exhibitions. As we move into the third year, players can expect the same commitment from Hoyoverse as more and more updates release as time goes by. Version 3.1 is already live and lots of events are to come in just the first phase of this update.
