Developer SeithCG has revealed the first screenshot of Ghost of a Tale 2, an RPG title for platforms yet to be announced. The image shows high-resolution details and confirms the design based on Unreal Engine 5, suggesting considerable improvements over its predecessor.
The screenshot doesn’t bring much new gameplay or dynamics, but it guarantees the implementation of photorealistic 3D visuals. In it, it is possible to observe improvements in shading, lighting, and general polishing techniques.
Additionally, fans of the first game have the opportunity to experience the first look at protagonist Tilo. Check it out below:

Concept change for Ghost of a Tale 2
In July of this year, the creator of the franchise informally confirmed, through his personal profile on Twitter, the development of Ghost of a Tale 2. At the time, he had revealed the decision to convert the graphics engine of the first game — Unity — for Unreal Engine 5. However, he did not share any further news since then.
“This is best made public: several months ago, we made the difficult decision to abandon Unity. We’ll move to Unreal Engine 5 for the sequel to Ghost of a Tale. This significantly disrupted our calendar (a lot of work to recreate), but we know it was the right decision.”
We are curious to see what the future has in tow with this game. For now, the launch date remains a mystery.
