Apple will officially release the iPhone 14 series in September this year if all goes according to plan. However, there have been several speculations regarding this series. The iPhone 14 Pro series will not use a notch design for the first time in five years. However, reports reveal that the Pro series will be significantly better than the regular versions. The latest report regarding the iPhone 14 series is that it will use up to 30W fast charging. This is the first time that Apple will use such a charging capacity if this actually happens.

Relative to Android, Apple is far behind in terms of charging capacity. Android smartphones are already using 120W to 200W fast chargers. However, Apple is taking its time to avoid mishaps. Apple’s iPhone has two things that users often complain about, one is signal, and the other is fast charging. Sometimes users can tolerate the signal, after all, it is not to the point where it is unusable. However, it is quite terrible that iPhone users will have to charge for over an hour to get a full charge.

iPhone 14 series 30W fast charging – a small 3W upgrade

However, according to reports, the charging performance of the iPhone will usher in a turnaround. The iPhone 14 may use a 30W fast charging solution which is not worth mentioning for Android phones but it is of great significance to the iPhone. Although the 30W fast charging increase is not large, due to the small battery capacity of Apple, the charging speed is better. If the iPhone 14 charging speed increases to 30W, it may get a full charge in less than an hour.

The maximum charging power of the current iPhone 13 Pro Max is 27W. It turns out that Apple is not incapable of fast charging, but Apple stubbornly believes that fast charging with such high power is irrelevant. In addition, there are reports that the iPhone 14 series has no Type-C interface. The USB Type-C will appear on the iPhone 15 at the earliest.
