Prior to its premiere at Auto Expo in January 2023, Lexus India has teased its future RX SUV. The fifth-generation RX was already introduced to the world back in June.
The Lexus RX is built on a new platform and is offered in markets across the world with new engine options, including for the first time a plug-in hybrid vehicle. The Lexus RX will be the automaker’s first model to ever have linked services that feature adaptability and connectedness of the owner with the vehicle, according to Lexus. The RX 350h, which has a 2.5-litre engine with powerful hybrid technology and generates 248PS and 324Nm torque, is anticipated to arrive in India.
The new Lexus RX will include a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Vegan synthetic leather was the material of choice for Lexus’ interior upholstery. Additionally, it receives a more straightforward structure that is driver-focused, in keeping with Lexus’ motto of “hands on the wheel, eyes on the road.” It incorporates touch controls that require little eye contact and head movement to view and change, as well as proactive driver support technologies.
