Marvel Snap fans now have more reasons to dive into the electrifying card game on mobile as DJ/Producer Martin Garrix and singer-songwriter and producer JVKE drop a new anthem titled “Hero” along with a stunning animated music video. In particular, the superhero-studded video is giving players a peek at the ups and downs of love across various artwork styles and comic book franchises.
The Marvel Snap-themed video – as crafted by the award-winning animation studio The Line Animation – will be revealed at The Game Awards, and showcases fan-fave OTPs such as Black Panther and Storm, Scarlet Witch and Vision, Gambit and Rogue, and, of course, Spider-Man and MJ.
“I’m super honoured to be a part of this project with MARVEL SNAP,” says Martin Garrix. “I love exploring new territories with my music, and I’m really excited the song is finally out today.’’

“It was so cool to collaborate with Martin Garrix, JVKE, Second Dinner, Nuverse and The Line Animation to express our collective fandom by diving deep into Marvel history and pack the ‘Hero’ video with fun Easter Eggs,” says Bill Rosemann, VP & Creative Director, Marvel Games. “Martin and JVKE’s song perfectly evokes Marvel’s rich tradition of dramatic romance, while the stylish and authentic range of art in the video’s vignettes likewise celebrates the many art styles that players have come to love in Marvel SNAP.”
To coincide with the release of the video and anthem, the game is also running a “Hero” in-game event where a free Storm Hero variant card is up for grabs along with tons of other event rewards.
