The 2023 Range Rover Sport has been on sale in India for a few months now and with a surge of bookings coming in, deliveries of the SUV is officially underway. The Range Rover Sport carries a starting price tag of Rs 1.64 crore
The MLA-Flex platform underpins the Range Rover Sport, which can run fully on electricity. On the other hand, Land Rover claimed that an electric Range Rover Sport will be ready in 2024. The SUV is currently powered by two 3-litre straight-six mild-hybrid engines.
The MY23 Range Rover Sport will be available at local dealerships from November 2022 and will be offered in four variants: Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, Autobiography and First Edition.
The 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines will power the new-generation Range Rover Sport in India. The former will be coupled with a battery pack and offered as a PHEV with a triple-digit EV-only range. The diesel engine will provide 350PS and 700 Nm of torque, while the petrol engine will produce 400PS and 550 Nm of torque. Across the board, an 8-speed automatic gearbox is standard.
With slimmer LED headlights, flush-fitting door handles, gunmetal-finished alloy wheels, and a dual-tone paint scheme, the facelifted Range Rover Sport appears considerably more upscale. The huge 13.1-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system and the completely digital 13.7-inch driver’s display continue to be the cabin’s standout characteristics in terms of features. A panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, motorized heated/cooled front seats, an air purifier, and a 23-speaker Meridian sound system are all included.
