OnePlus has finally revealed the price of their newest gaming monitor, X27. The monitor is priced at Rs 27,999 and will be available for purchase from the official OnePlus site from December 15th onwards.

Featuring a 2K QHD 178° IPS panel, the X27 delivers bright DisplayHDR 400 color that is ideal for both gaming and office work. The monitor is geared towards gamers as it sports a 10-bit color and a wide DCI-P3 95% color gamut that brings colors in video games, photos, movies, and other content to life with brighter color and detail.

At Rs 27,999 this is a pretty decent budget monitor that has certain bells and whistles that gamers tend to love such as the 165 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time. The 2K QHD panel is as close to 4K as it gets and its pairing with the 165 Hz refresh rate can help gamers get the best out of their new, powerful PCs or a next-gen console like the PS5 or Xbox Series X/S.

OnePlus Monitor X 27: Specifications

The monitor has a couple of cool connectivity features including a 65W Type-C port that will help charge laptops while transmitting display at the same time. This is a pretty nifty feature that will help avoid all sorts of clutter to do with cables and power adaptors. To take connectivity a step further, the X27 will also allow users to share displays from their smartphones or tablets.

  • Resolution: 2K QHD (2560×1440)
  • Refresh Rate: 165Hz
  • AMD Freesync
  • DisplayHDR 400
  • 5 Viewing Modes
  • 130 mm Adjustable Height Stand

The OnePlus X27 has 5 viewing presets, including Standard, Mobile, Game, Picture, and Web Mode. Each mode is optimized for different functions and will help gamers get the most out of their experience.

Current-gen console owners looking to game at 120 FPS will find the monitor to be a solid choice if they’re okay with the 2K QHD display. There are a number of games on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, such as Forza Horizon, F1 22, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare, that support 120 Hz displays. AMD Freesync additionally ensures players do not experience any jittering or tearing during their time with the game.

The monitor is also pretty agile as users can adjust the height with the 130mm stand or pivot from -90° to 90° with ease. The monitor can tilt from -5° to 21° and the swivel allows it to rotate on its axis from -20° to 20°.

OnePlus will likely announce the pricing for the rest of the X series line of gaming monitors. Gamers and enthusiasts are looking forward to hearing more about how the E24 will be priced.
