Poco, the popular smartphone maker entered the mobile segment just a few years back as a sub-brand of Xiaomi and in 2020, Poco became an independent brand. While the company has been launching smartphones for about 5 years now under the Poco F series, M series, C series, and X series. Today, the brand entered the AIoT segment with the launch of two new products.

Poco has launched its first wearable called the Poco Watch and the company has also announced a special edition Poco Buds Pro true wireless earbuds. The Poco Watch comes with a squarish AMOLED display, a water-resistant body, and up to 14 day battery life. The Poco Buds Genshin Impact Edition offers ANC and they’re rated to last up to 28 hours. These two products were launched alongside the Poco F4 GT.

The Poco Watch is priced at EUR 79 (~Rs 6,500) and the Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition are priced at EUR 69(~Rs 5,600). Both products will go on sale starting April 28.

Poco Watch: Features and Specifications

The Poco Watch comes with a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 360 x 320 pixels. It also supports Always-on-Display. The phone comes with a squarish design and there is a side-mounted button, which can be used to navigate and access the menu. It weighs 31 grams and is 9.98mm thick.  The watch is available in Black, Blue, and Ivory colour options. The watch also comes with a built-in GPS to track outdoor activities.

In terms of sensors, the Poco Watch comes with a heart rate sensor, a SpO2 monitor to track blood-oxygen levels, and it can also track sleep. Overall, the watch is capable of tracking 100+ sports modes. The wearable is backed by a 225mAh battery, which is rated to last up to 14 days on a single charge.

Other features include 5ATM water and sweat resistant rating, an interchangeable strap, smart notifications from the phone, and 100+ watch faces. The strap options for the watch include pink, olive, blue, black, and ivory.

Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition: Features

The first Poco branded TWS are made in collaboration with Genshin Impact and they’re called Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition TWS. The Poco Buds Pro are basically rebranded Redmi AirDots 3 Pro. These buds pack in a 9mm driver setup along with Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity. These buds come with a noise cancellation feature, which eliminates the external world noise by up to 35dB. The buds also offer support for 69ms low-latency, which comes in handy during gaming.

In terms of battery life, the Poco Buds Pro are rated to last up to six hours on a single charge. With the included case, the battery life can be extended up to 28 hours. The charging case comes with a USB Type-C port and the earbuds also support wireless charging. A 10-minute quick charge will offer up to 3 hours of playback.

As for the controls, the true wireless earbuds support touch controls which means you can use the buds to take or reject calls, switch between devices, and control media. Other features include an IPX4 rating, 4.9-gram weight (bud), dual transparency mode and three microphones. The Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition box comes with a special box and also some custom voice notes.
