Redmi is currently all set to unveil its latest flagship series, the Redmi K60 series. While we wait for the official launch of this device, popular tech blogger @DCS claims that the Redmi K60 series will be official at the end of this month. The core configuration is “a whole level higher” than the previous generation. The Redmi K60 series will have three models including the Redmi K60E, K60 and K60 Pro. The naming of this series is a bit different from the previous generation which has Redmi K50, K50 Pro and K50G. The Redmi K60E corresponds to K50, K60 to K50 Pro, and K60 Pro to K50G.

The blogger reveals that the goal of the Redmi K60 series is the king of performance in the three price ranges. The Xiaomi 13 series has been tuned very well, and Redmi also adds a violent tuning. “At the end of the month, let’s see who is the strongest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2”.

As the latest flagship chip of Snapdragon, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 adopts a 4nm process and uses a new 1 + 2 + 2 + 3 architecture. It includes a 3.2GHz Kryo super core based on Cortex-X3, four 2.8GHz performance Core (2 × Cortex A715 + 2 × Cortex A710) and three 2.0GHz Cortex-A510 energy efficient cores.
Earlier this month, Lu Weibing, partner of Xiaomi Group, president of China and Global Department, and general manager of the Redmi brand, said that the K60 universe, which is the Redmi “K60E” is the first batch to come with the new flagship, Dimensity 8200 core. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 also uses a 4nm process, and the octa-core CPU architecture includes 4 Cortex-A78 large cores, with a maximum frequency of 3.1GHz and a Mali-G610 six-core GPU. Currently, the Redmi K60 series has passed 3C certification but only one of the three models supports 120W fast charging and the other two support 67W.
