The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is available in 3 variants – Retro, Metro, and Metro Rebel. The base variant of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 motorcycle is the ‘Retro’ and this variant is available in two colour options – Factory Black, and Factory Silver.

In addition to that, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Retro variant looks slightly different to other variants of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 motorcycle, thanks to a few cost-cutting measures. This includes cost-efficient features such as spoked wheels with tubed tyres, single-channel ABS, rear drum brakes, halogen tail lamp, and a basic instrument cluster.

In addition to that, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Retro variant also uses narrower front and rear tyres. These tyres measure 100/80 R17 at the front and 120/80 R17 at the rear. In addition to all these changes, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Retro also lacks the modern switchgear found in newer Royal Enfield motorcycles.

On the other hand, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 ‘Metro’ and ‘Metro Rebel’ variants are packed with more premium features and designed to attract young buyers. As a result, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Metro and Metro Rebel variants come with features such as blacked-out alloy wheels, dual-channel ABS, 270mm rear disc brake, LED tail lamp, more premium-looking round indicators, more premium switchgear and a stylish-looking part digital-part analogue instrument cluster as in the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 motorcycle.

In addition to these upgrades, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Metro and Metro Rebel variants sport wider front and rear tyres that measure 110/70 R17, and 140/70 R17, respectively. Thanks to these wider tyres, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Metro and Metro Rebel variants look a lot sportier and are expected to offer better road grip as well.

However, all these changes demand a higher price and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Metro variant costs Rs 1.63 lakh (ex-showroom, India), whereas the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Metro Rebel variant costs Rs 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom, India). In comparison, the Royal Enfield Retro variant costs Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Though both the Metro and Metro Rebel variants of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 motorcycle are mechanically identical, the difference between the two variants is the colour options.

While the Metro variant of the Hunter 350 motorcycle is available in three single-tone colour options – Dapper White, Dapper Ash, and Dapper Grey, the Metro Rebel variant of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 motorcycle is available in three dual-tone colour options – Rebel Black. Rebel Blue, and Rebel Red.

This difference makes the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Metro Rebel variant motorcycle stand out a bit better in the crowd and also makes the motorcycle look a lot more youthful as well.

In comparison, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is 85mm longer, 45mm wider, 85mm taller than the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 motorcycle. In addition to that, the Meteor 350 also sports 35mm longer wheelbase as well.

In terms of specifications, the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 motorcycle uses the same 349.34cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycles. This engine in the Hunter 350 puts out 19.94bhp of peak power at 6,100rpm and 27Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm, and comes paired to the same 5-speed gearbox as well.
