The Samsung Galaxy M04 is confirmed to get software upgrades for two years

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of a new Galaxy M-series smartphone. The company has confirmed the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M04 in India. The new budget smartphone from Samsung will launch in India on December 9. It will be available for purchase via Amazon India. Samsung has teased the pricing details and some key specifications of the upcoming Galaxy M-series smartphone.

The phone will launch in India at a competitive price. Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy M04 will be priced under Rs 10,000. The microsite on Amazon also confirms that the phone will launch in two colours. Samsung Galaxy M04 India Price Teased

The Samsung Galaxy M04 is confirmed to launch in India as a budget smartphone. It will be priced under Rs 10,000 in India. The microsite on Amazon India reveals that the Samsung Galaxy M04 will be priced at Rs 8,XXX. The pricing is for the base model and we can expect it to be available in at least two storage configurations.

The Galaxy M-series smartphone will launch in India in two colour options. There will be a Blue colour variant along with the Green option. The device is likely to sport a polycarbonate back panel and come with curved corners. The frame too is curved. It houses the power button and the volume rocker on the right edge. The images do not show any signs of a fingerprint scanner. 

The rear panel houses a dual-camera setup with an LED flash. On the front, there is a waterdrop notch at the top of the display. The device will offer up to 8GB of RAM, which will also include virtual RAM. Samsung is expected to launch the phone with 3GB/ 4GB RAM options. The phone is confirmed to get 128GB of internal storage. We can expect the phone to offer support for expanding the memory via a microSD card slot.

The device is confirmed to get software upgrades for two years. The device was spotted on the Google Play Console, which revealed that it will come with an HD+ display. The phone will also run Android 12 out of the box. It will have a layer of One UI 4.1 Core on top. In addition to this, the listing revealed that the Galaxy M04 will come with at least 3GB of RAM. 

There will be a MediaTek MT6765 processor, which could be the Heel G35 SoC. It is paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone could well be a rebadged Samsung Galaxy A04e. In that case, it could sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD, a 13MP dual-camera setup and pack a 5000mAh battery.
