Samsung is expected to launch a new M-series smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy M04 in the coming weeks/months. The smartphone with model number SM-M045F has already been spotted on Bluetooth SIG, WiFi Alliance, and BIS certification websites. The upcoming M-series smartphone has made an appearance on the Samsung India Support page which suggested that it could be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A04e.

Now, in the latest development, Folks at MyFixGuide have spotted the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M04 on the Google Play Console database. The Google Play Console listing for the Galaxy M04 reveals some of the key specifications. Samsung Galaxy M04 With MediaTek Helio G35 Spotted on Google Play Console

The Samsung Galaxy M04 Google Play Console listing reveals that it will feature a 720 × 1600 pixel resolution display with 300ppi pixel density and a waterdrop notch. The upcoming M-series smartphone will be equipped with 3GB of RAM and will come pre-loaded with Android 12.

The listing further reveals that the Samsung Galaxy M04 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6765 processor which will make use of 8 × Cortex A53 cores (4 clocked at 2.3GHz and the remaining four clocked at 1.8GHz) and will be equipped with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The Samsung Galaxy M04 with MediaTek Helio G35 was earlier spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database.

All the specifications revealed in the latest listing once again confirm that the Samsung Galaxy M04 will be nothing but a rebadged Galaxy A04e. Let us take a quick recap of the Samsung Galaxy A04e specifications and features.

The Galaxy A04e features an HD+ LCD display panel with an Infinity-V notch that measures 6.5 inches in size. The Galaxy A04e is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor and up to 4GB of RAM. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit. It relies on a Type-C port for charging and data transfers.

The Samsung Galaxy A04e comes equipped with a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfies and video calls on the smartphone are taken care of by a 5MP front shooter. The Samsung Galaxy A04e weighs 188 grams and measures 164.2 × 75.9 × 9.1mm.

The Samsung Galaxy A04e retails in three colour options – Orange Copper, Light Blue, and Black. It sports a dedicated micro-SD card slot and also offers a 3.5mm audio jack. The budget A-series smartphone from Samsung lacks the fingerprint scanner so users have to rely on the face unlock on the security front.
