Details about the Samsung Galaxy S23 series’ camera and battery specifications have surfaced online ahead of launch. Samsung is reportedly prepping to launch the Galaxy S23 series early next year. However, vital information about the upcoming handsets has been popping up on the internet in the form of leaks.

For instance, tipster Ice Universe recently shared some images of an alleged Samsung Galaxy S23 protective case. The word on the street is that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S23 series in February 2023. This launch timeline aligns with the company’s previous launch schedule.

However, a report claims the Korean smartphone giant could launch its upcoming flagships earlier than its usual launch timeline. Notably, the report suggests the Galaxy S23 series could arrive in time for the Holidays. Now, the Galaxy S23 series will reportedly comprise three premium smartphones. These include the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Camera, Battery Specifications

Despite the lack of official confirmation, some key details about the upcoming smartphones have been revealed. Now, a report by GalaxyClub has revealed the Galaxy S23 series’ camera and battery specifications. According to the report, the Galaxy S23 Plus will get a bigger battery than its predecessor. Also, the smartphone will carry model number SM-S916.

However, the battery capacity of the Galaxy S23 Ultra could be the same as the battery capacity of its precursor. So, the S23 Ultra could come with a 5000mAh battery like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The GalaxyClub report suggests the aforesaid battery has model number EB-BS918ABY. Moreover, the cell’s rated capacity is 4855mAh, whereas its typical capacity is 5000mAh.

The Galaxy S23 Plus has model number EB-BS916ABY. Furthermore, it packs a cell with 4565mAh rated capacity and a 4700mAh typical capacity. The Galaxy S23 series will reportedly support 25W fast charging as well. The Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus will support the same charging speed. However, the Ultra model will deliver a faster-charging speed of 45W.

Also, the report suggests the Galaxy S23 series will house a 12MP front shooter. The Galaxy S23 and S23+ will get a 12MP ultrawide camera. The Ultra model could come with the same 12MP ultrawide sensor. Moreover, all three smartphones will feature a 10MP telephoto camera. The S23 Ultra could house two 10MP lenses with up to 10x optical and 100x digital zoom.
