Maple Story M, the mobile version of the beloved MMORPG, is getting a huge update and event slate this month.

It begins when a brand-new character descends to the world of Maple Story M this week in the form of, Sia Astelle. This Magician-Class character is unique to Maple Story M and has not been available in any other version of Maple Story. Hailing from the planet Oortt where she serves as the world’s guardian, currently, she has crash landed in Maple Story where she must fight for her new homeland.

Alongside Sia’s launch, a variety of improvements and updates will be coming to Maple Story M. These include an improvement to the EXP skill percentage from 250% to 300 %. Changes to the endgame Necro class of equipment and new skill presets. The event will also feature a variety of tasks and log-in bonuses that will grant players items and bonuses just for playing the game.

New Campaigns Await

Pre-creation Rewards (1/11-1/25) are a reward for those who participated in the “Sia Astelle pre-creation event.” While the Growth Mission event awards items and other goods for leveling up Sia and completing missions related to her. Mega Buring Plus grants 2 levels every time another of your characters levels up, and finally, the Grow with Sia Astelle event rewards experience points to another one of your playable characters when Sia herself gains a level as well.

In addition to the hype surrounding Sia coming to the game, Maple Story M will also be celebrating the Lunar New Year with some goodies for players, from 1/11 to 2/22 you can take part in the “I Just Wanted to Have a Fulfilling Year, but Being a Hero Is Too Much!” mini-game event. In this experience, players can take on a variety of mini-games and tasks such as delivering food, climbing trees, and collecting coins to save the world. They can also defeat the boss Lord Pixrog to gain rewards based on how many times he is defeated.

The New Year also brings a pair of events. The 2023 Happy New Year event, which runs from 1/18 to 2/11, lets players unwrap red envelopes found during hunting for a chance at something good. At the same time, the New Year’s 14-day log-in event will give out daily rewards just for checking into the game.
