Noodlecake Studios and Drastic Games have surprise-launched Soundfall today, bringing the rhythm-based looter shooter to consoles and PC. Set within the land of Symphonia, Soundfall sees you battling the forces of Discord, alone or in local or online co-op for up to four players.
Playing as ‘Guardian of Harmony’, Melody (or one of five ‘musical geniuses’), you’ll fight through the corrupted Timbrelands, blasting Discordians to restore balance and Harmony using powerful abilities, legendary weapons, and “endearing allies”. You can customise a loadout from 500+ pieces of equipment, too.
Boasting a Campaign Mode stuffed with loot and Free Play with hundreds of songs, you can shoot and loot to the beat in Soundfall on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, priced $29.99/£24.99 with a limited-time launch discount.
