
Announced during CES 2023, TCL’s new Tab 8 LE is an affordable tablet with 4G networking and an 8-inch HD display, with MediaTek’s Helio A22 chipset providing the grunt. Sporting an RRP of $159, the Tab 8 LE will be available at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile from January 12th.
Featuring LTE connectivity, and an all-day 4080mAh battery, the TCL TAB 8 LE keeps you connected to work, friends, and all the content you can consume. There’s an 8-inch HD display, immersive dual stereo speakers, and 32GB of internal storage with support for up to 512GB via microSD. Both the front and rear cameras have five megapixels which should be ok for video calls.
It’s a $160 tablet with 4G support and a portable 8-inch HD display, it’s not going to go head-to-head with Samsung’s finest but it’s going to do the job, especially when you are on the road and want to keep the kids quiet. We’ve yet to learn details on pricing from T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile but we’ll update the post when we find out.
