Visitors play a game of Tekken 7 on an Oled Flex tv monitor at the stand of South Korean consumer goods giant LG at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA), the international trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, on September 2, 2022 at the fair grounds in Berlin.
But how about the entire “Tekken” series? It sure is more than the 10 million mark.
‘Tekken 7’ Sales Hit 10 Million Mark
As per the latest news story by PC Gamer, no less than the “Tekken 7” game director announced that the fighter title has already sold more than 10 million copies.
Harada went on to thank the fans and players of the game for their “continued support.” If not for them, the game would not even reached its latest milestone.
While the “Tekken 7” sales figures were quite impressive, PC Gamer notes that it is still far from its rival fighting game.
It is worth noting that the Super Smash Bro. Ultimate remains second to none in sales. The Nintendo fighter game remains to be the best-selling fighter game. In fact, it has already sold roughly 30 million copies worldwide.
Given that, “Tekken 7” is still far from being the best-selling fighter game. But it sure holds a lot of players. Ten million is no small feat for game sales. There are hundreds of titles out there that have never reached that mark.
It has sold millions of copies on various platforms, including the Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
