According to CarBuzz, Ram announced the new Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition. It’s an entirely new addition to the lineup that will only see the light in limited quantities. However, it’s got a bold, stylish look that some super truck buyers will love. For the first time, the TRX model will come with a Baja Yellow exterior color, a hue that can’t be missed as drivers pass it on the road. However, the Havoc Edition isn’t only about the bright paint job.

The Havoc Edition adds the TRX Level 2 Equipment Group, a $10,995 option on the standard TRX model. It combines a long list of features like eight-way power-adjustable seats, a 19-speaker Harmon Kardon Premium sound system, and ventilated seats for both rows. Finally, the Havoc Edition has a dual-pane sunroof to add to the interior ambiance.

Next, the special edition super truck has black-painted 18-inch bead-lock capable wheels, graphics, and a spray-in bed liner. More exterior standard features include cargo tie-downs, a cab-mounted LED brake light, and a bed step.

Inside, the carbon fiber and leather-trimmed steering wheel has a Baja Yellow TRX symbol to match the exterior. Additionally, Prowler Yellow stitching is found on the dashboard, center console, and seats. Moreover, the seats also have black leather upholstery embroidered with TRX logos with carbon fiber inlays for the fascia. Lastly, there’s an HE plaque on the center console, plus a few added driver assists like adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and pedestrian emergency braking.

Although the Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition looks better in yellow, it’s just as good for performance. Ram did not change the 702-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V8 from the standard TRX model. It’s unlikely super truck buyers have complained about the potent engine, so if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

CarBuzz pointed out that if Ram TRX buyers want even more power, it’s available. Just buy the Ram Tyrant, which bumps the output to 787 horsepower.

“The Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition offers another unique way for our passionate customers to separate themselves from the crowd with the segment’s best combination of performance, capability, and technology. We’re always exploring new ideas and looking for ways to offer new content as we continue to win over more and more buyers,” Ram CEO Mike Koval Jr. said.

The question everyone will have when learning about the new bright yellow super truck will undoubtedly be about the price. You’ll need a hefty budget to get this one, as the Havoc Edition starts at $104,550. Additionally, there’s a $1,895 destination charge, boosting the total price to $106,445. Although it’s expensive, it’s cheaper than the pickup’s biggest rival, the F-150 Raptor R.

The yellow menace is expected to go on sale sometime during the first quarter of 2023.

In conclusion, the Ram TRX Havoc Edition looks better in yellow. If you’re buying a super truck, you probably love standing out from the crowd. However, if driving a pickup with over 700 horsepower isn’t enough, now you can make it bright yellow. As you’re glowing down the road, you’ll enjoy more features, a fancier interior, and detailed accents to make the new yellow variant feel even more unique.
