Tim Allen owns a 1968 Chevy 427 COPO Camaro

When you think of special edition models of the Camaro, the early versions meant for drag racing come to mind. These were the specially-ordered COPO Camaro cars that packed a serious punch with the LS7 engine from the 1960s Corvette.

The 7.0-liter V8 engine in Allen’s Camaro packs 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. A stock 1968 version of this COPO Camaro is valued at nearly $90,000, but Allen’s version brings a much higher valuation at nearly $302,900.

There’s no denying that Tim Allen is an American muscle car enthusiast. One of the rarest cars in his collection is this 1966 Mustang. There were only about 1,000 ever made of this car designed by Carroll Shelby and Hertz.

This amazing car brings an impressive 4.7-liter V8 engine to churn out 306 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque. This car in Allen’s car collection is valued at $297,000.

This incredible sports car has rally racing roots and is part o the Tim Allen car collection. The SWB means Short Wheelbase, giving this car the right build or the WRC. Allen bought this rare and beautiful Porsche 911S for $912,500.

The “S” in the 911 S name means Super. The power for this iconic car is 180 horsepower and 144 lb-ft of torque. This is an increase from 148 horsepower in some of the other Porsche 911 models from that year. This power comes from a 2.0-liter flat six-cylinder engine that gives this car enough juice to hit 60 mph in 6.9 seconds.

Power for this 1965 Shelby crating comes from a 7.0-liter V8 engine which makes 410 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. This power hits the wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission, giving this car the right classic car personality. Allen’s Shelby Cobra can hit 185 mph and finish the sprint to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

The signature split-window design of the 1963 Chevy Corvette makes a fitting addition to the Tim Allen car collection. This feature was only offered for one year, making the 1963 version one o the most desirable and collectible cars of all time.

Allen’s Corvette has the original factory paint job, and still looks incredible, which shows how well cared for this car has been over the years. Because Allen knows a bit about cars, he understands the desire to keep this car as original as possible, which is why he hasn’t done anything extra with the 1963 Corvette.
