The Xiaomi 12 Pro is all set to launch in India. The smartphone is the only variant of the company’s entire flagship smartphone lineup to be introduced in India when the event goes live at 12:30 PM IST on Wednesday, April 27. The smartphone, like the Mi 11 Ultra, is expected to offer an all-out flagship experience and showcase the very best in hardware that Xiaomi has on offer.

The device premiered globally in March this year and also has other variants such as the Xiaomi 12 and 12X. However, the latter two are not expected to be launched tomorrow and could be introduced in India at a later date. Rumours have suggested that the Xiaomi 12 Pro could start at around Rs 60,000 in India – and offer features such as 120W fast charging, a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED 120Hz display, 50MP triple rear cameras and more. However, the event is also expected to introduce other devices such as the Xiaomi Pad 5 and the Xiaomi Smart TV 5A. Here’s what you can expect from either.

Xiaomi 12 Pro: Expected Specifications and Features

The Xiaomi 12 Pro will come with powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is available in Blue, Purple, and Gray colour options globally and we can expect the same in India as well.

It comed with a 4,600mAh battery unit with support for 120W fast charging. It charges to 100% in just 18 minutes and the Standard mode takes 24 minutes. It also has 50W wireless turbocharging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Like last year’s Mi 11 Ultra, the Xiaomi 12 Pro offers three primary cameras. The primary camera is a 50MP Sony IMX707 lens with an f/1.9 aperture and OIS. There is also a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens with 115-degree FoV and a 50MP telephoto lens with f/1.948 aperture and 48mm equivalent focal length. On the front it has a 32 MP in-display snapper.

On top it has a 6.73-inch E5 AMOLED display with WQHD+ resolution ( 3200 x 1440 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, and LTPO.  The device runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12.

Xiaomi Pad 5: Expected Specifications and Features

The Xiaomi Pad 5 is the latest version of the Android tablet that was first introduced in India in 2015. Now, the company has confirmed that it will be a part of its product lineup tomorrow.

In terms of what to expect, Android tablet buyers will get an 11-inch, 2560 x 1600-pixel LCD display with HDR10 support, 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It will also reportedly have Dolby Vision support. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC, along with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Other features include a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It will also seemingly get quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support and be powered by an 8,720mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging.

Xiaomi Smart TV 5A: Expected Specifications and Features

The Xiaomi Smart TV 5A is also tipped to be launched tomorrow, and the same has also been confirmed by the company. Not a lot of details are known as yet about the TV, including the integrated speaker configuration, display size variants or screen resolution. The Xiaomi Smart TV 4A range offered three screen sizes between 32 inches and 43 inches, and it remains to be seen if the Smart TV 5A may follow a similar lineup. The ‘A’ variant is also typically a budget-friendly range with full HD screen resolution, but all of these details will be unveiled only tomorrow.
