XPENG, a leading Chinese smart EV company, has revealed a series of technological milestones and industry accomplishments at its fifth annual Tech Day held in Guangzhou. One of the highlights of the event was the official unveiling of the XPENG X9, a starship-inspired, large 7-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV).
The X9 is slated for its showcase at Auto Guangzhou in November 2023.
The company also unveiled its new ADAS feature – AI Valet Driver.
Later, when selecting the same travel route, the driver can activate the ‘AI Valet Driver’ function to achieve advanced assisted driving for specific routes or scenarios in the cities.

XPENG is headquartered in Guangzhou, China, with main offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Silicon Valley, San Diego and Amsterdam.
The company’s smart EVs are mainly manufactured at its plants in Zhaoqing and Guangzhou, Guangdong province.
