The X5 gets BMW Laserlight, two more airbags, and new 21-inch wheels

BMW Malaysia has announced new features for the locally-assembled BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport, in an effort to further enhance the appearance and also the safety and visibility.

That being said, the new X5 xDrive45e M Sport will now arrive equipped with BMW Laserlight for greater and wider illumination, enhancing visibility on the road for safer travels. 

The Adaptive Headlights with BMW Selective Beam is equipped with laser high beam modules that offer a much higher light intensity compared to bi-LED lights.

In terms of safety updates, the New BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport will also feature Active Protection, which will see two more side airbags added to the second row of the vehicle, bringing the total amount of airbags within the premium SAV to eight.

Additionally, reversible seatbelt pre-tensioning is also implemented where upon seatbelt fastening, an electric motor will automatically tighten the seatbelt to the ideal tension based on the passenger’s body.

Last but not least, adding to appearance of the BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport are new 21-inch 741M Alloy Wheels in Orbit Grey. 

The X5 will still be equipped with the Live Cockpit Professional, Driving Assistant, Parking Assistant Plus, Rear Seat Entertainment, as well as Vernasca genuine leather upholstery – upholding the SAV’s luxurious nature, complemented by sporty performance that is unmatched in its segment.

With the Easy Drive Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the new BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM4,882 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a five-year tenure).

Owners of the New BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport will receive the complete BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership experience which includes BMW 5-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service Programme, BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, BMW Group Loyalty+ Mobile App – BMW Privileges Card, and BMW Service Online.

The retail pricing for the New BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport with BMW Service and Repair Inclusive as well as Sales and Service Tax exemption (on the road, without insurance) is RM457,498.37
