PUBG Mobile got so popular worldwide, and India is no different. However, things took a turn when the Indian Government announced the ban of PUBG Mobile in 2020. Battlegrounds Mobile India didn’t take any time and was instantly a success thanks to PUBG Mobile’s popularity. It is the same as PUBG Mobile, however with a few changes in rules and guidelines. But turns out it is not enough; the Indian Government has again taken notice of the popular battle royale title.

Why is BGMI removed from the Google Playstore and Apple App Store?

BGMI has been pulled from the Play Store because of a government order – a person familiar with the matter.

Google’s statement suggests the game was removed from Google Playstore due to a “Government Order“. But why would the government remove the game? Well, one of the possible reasons could be the complaint of people. Parents have found this game addicting. Moreover, there have been several incidents of violent crimes committed due to this game.

There is no official confirmation if this ban from Playstore and Apple App Store is permanent or temporary. However, a YouTuber has suggested that BGMI will beckon Google Playstore.
