After more than a decade since it was initially launched in the U.S, Google Maps Street View is finally here in India. Partnered with Tech Mahindra and Genesys International which specializes in geospatial services and mapping, it is the first time Google has tethered to a local partner. Keeping everything aside, the Google Maps Street View in India has already managed to cover 1,50,000kms of mapping. Although it is majorly targeted toward 10 cities as of now, you can spot bits and pieces of Street View mapping in other parts of the country as the process is ongoing.

Google Maps is using Marazzo, Mahindra Bolero Neo, and Scorpios for mapping purposes and plans to extend to 50 cities by the end of 2022.
