That ’90s Show is a spinoff of the coming-of-age comedy That ’70s Show. Netflix announced the new series in October, with only a few cast members revealed. Fans of That ’70s Show have been wondering if they’ll ever see Eric and Donna again.
Later, Netflix revealed, alongside a sneak peek at their new show, that they’ve reunited with nearly all of the original cast to appear in That ’90s Show. Netflix also revealed all of the new faces they’ll be using in their new series. Nostalgia for ’90s classic show revivals is at an all-time high, and fans are hoping that the new series will have a similar vibe and feel to the original.
What time will That ’90s Show release online?
That ’90s Show will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, 19 January 2023, at 3:00 a.m. ET/12:00 a.m. PT/ 1.30 p.m. IST. We’ll be getting all ten episodes on Netflix at the same time so that you can binge them all on your schedule.
Can you watch it for free?
Unfortunately, because the streamer does not currently offer a free trial period, you will have to spend some money and subscribe if you want to catch up on this nostalgic series, as well as a slew of others, as they air. That ’90s Show will center on Leia, Eric and Donna’s daughter, who is spending the summer of 1995 visiting her grandparents in Wisconsin. While being watched over by Red and Kitty, Leia forms bonds with a new generation of Point Place teenagers. If she’s anything like her parents, she’ll be up to mischief and fun trouble during summer vacation. Except for this time, the shenanigans will take place in cargo pants rather than bell bottoms. It’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red. Sex, drugs, and rock ’n roll never dies, it just changes clothes.”
That ’90s Show stars Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp in reprising roles as Red and Kitty Forman, who are currently playing grandparents. Topher Grace (Eric), Mila Kunis (Jackie), Wilmer Valderrama (Fez), Laura Pepron (Donna), and Ashton Kutcher (Kelso) from the original series are all set to make special guest appearances. Danny Masterson is the only original That ’70s Show cast member who is not expected to return. Tommy Chong, who played Leo in the original series, will reprise his role in That ’90s Show.
