Maxim was established in Malaysia in 2018 and currently is said to cover about 35 towns / cities throughout the country, including areas like Kuantan and Sibu. Maxim Malaysia is part of an international technology group offering taxi aggregation as well as cargo and delivery services, with presence in Central Asia, Southeast Asia and South America.

In order to expand further in Malaysia, Maxim is opening up opportunities for people to register as a Maxim driver. Drivers have the option to choose to work on either a full-time or part-time basis. According to the company, there are no special conditions set for working hours of its e-hailing drivers.

As a Maxim driver, you can estimate and manage your income in its website (https://taximaxim.com/my/ms-my/5859-ipoh/driver/income). This would allow you as a driver, to plan your travel more efficiently. The website is set up to be user-friendly and easy to understand.

A driver’s income would be dependent on several factors such as location (e.g. city or town), type of vehicle, fuel consumption, type of fuel used, working time and the number of working days. All these can be customised depending on the driver’s preferences and personal targets. As an example, if a Maxim driver is working in and around Ipoh, using a petrol-powered “economy vehicle” with average fuel consumption of 10L/100km, for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, the estimated income is RM3,392 (with an estimate of 24 ride reservations).

To start off as a Maxim Malaysia driver, you will need to download the Taxsee Driver application and register within the app. You can also register online at https://sea.taxsee.pro/my/
