Ahead of the launch, we have now spotted the upcoming Motorola handset with the model number XT2301-5 on the Geekbench benchmark database.

The upcoming Moto Edge 40 Pro with model number XT2301-5 made an appearance on the Geekbench 5 benchmark database. The smartphone scored 1471 points in the single-core round of the test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, it managed to score around 4683 points. The listing further reveals the presence of an octa-core processor with 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration and 3.19GHz peak frequency.
Based on these, it appears that the upcoming Moto Edge 40 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship – Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was announced last month and brings with it an integrated Adreno 740 GPU. Apart from it, the listing also reveals the existence of a 12GB memory variant for the Edge 40 Pro. The listing further reveals that the Edge 40 Pro will come pre-loaded with Android 13.
