The Motorola Edge 30 Neo will run on Android 12 out of the box.
Motorola is gearing up to launch a couple of new phones under the Edge 30 series. The series already consists of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro and the Edge 30, both of which are already available in India. The company is also prepping to launch the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion in India as well as some global markets as we have already spotted the same on multiple certification websites including BIS.
However, looks like Motorola is also working on another Edge 30 series device, which is called the Motorola Edge 30 Neo. The Edge 30 Neo has been currently spotted on the Geekbench website and here is what we know so far about the new device.
Motorola Edge 30 Neo: Expected Specifications
The Motorola Edge 30 Neo has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The site has revealed the upcoming phone’s OS version, possible SoC, RAM, and more details. For starters, the Edge 30 Neo comes with Android 12 out of the box. Further, the device will be powered by an octa-core processor with a “Miami” motherboard. The chipset will come with six cores clocked at 1.8GHz and two cores clocked at 2.21GHz. Based on these details, this could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 or Snapdragon 750G chipset.
The phone will come with Adreno 619 GPU to handle graphics and gaming content. As for the memory, the Edge 30 Neo is listed with 8GB of RAM, but we can expect more RAM and storage options as well. Lastly, the device has secured 664 and 1848 in the single-core and multi-core tests. Apart from these, the listing does not reveal much info about the phone.
Previously, Nils Ahrensmeier on Twitter had revealed that the Edge 30 Neo will be priced at Euro 399, which is around Rs 32,200. The Edge 30 Neo is likely rebranded version of the Edge 30 Lite. The specs of the Edge 30 Lite were leaked a few days back and the device is tipped to come with a 6.5-inch display, 64MP primary rear shooter with OIS, 4020mAh battery, and more. Based on the old report, the device is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 695, but it is unconfirmed at the moment.
