Origin client won’t sign in on Windows PC
There could be several reasons associated with getting the sign-in failure error. Ranging from common reasons such as network-related issues, compatibility issues, firewall issues, etc., to specific reasons such as corrupt Origin cache, bad proxy, and account-related issues. If the Origin client won’t sign in on Windows PC, quit Origin, restart the app and try logging in using your ID instead of your email address. Also, try temporarily disabling your USB or other storage devices on your PC. Allow Origin through Windows Firewall and see if works. 1] Sync Time and Date on your system

Next, clear your Origin Cache data and see if it fixes the issue. A cache is a storage component that stores temporary files of Origin for faster access to the program. A corrupted cache may prevent you from signing in to the Origin desktop client. After clearing the Origin cache, restart your Windows 11/10 PC and try logging in again. This should hopefully resolve the issue.
4] Reset the Host file
Reset the Windows Host file and see if that helps.
5] Speak to a Support Agent
A few users have reported that their accounts have been suspended due to unusual activities or payment-related issues, due to which they are facing the sign-in failure error. Contact Origin support to know if your account is still active. Make sure to clear all your bills before you sign in to Origin or ask the support executive to lift the suspension if they have wrongly banned your account.

Has EA desktop replaced Origin?
EA app is out of beta and available for download on the Windows platform (minimum 64-bit PC system). Origin is still available but soon going to be phased out and replaced completely with the EA App. When a user installs the EA App, Origin gets uninstalled from his system to prevent conflicts between both the client apps. He may then use the same credentials to log into the EA app and access his games and other data saved on PC or on Origin’s cloud.
