Last week, Qualcomm held simultaneous technology summits in Hawaii and Sanya. At these events, the company officially released the new generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This chip uses TSMC’s 4nm process. The official claims that it will subvert the flagship model again in 2023. There is currently a race to the finish line for the first brand/model to launch this chip. Another aspect of attention is which brand will launch the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 model. Redmi is currently in the race to launch the most affordable model. Now, there are reports of the upcoming Redmi K60 series. A new set of renders of the Redmi K60 recently hit the public.

Redmi K60 series uses a top chip
The new renders of this smartphone are basically consistent with previous reports. The new Redmi K60 will use a straight screen with almost equal width on all sides. The front camera punch-hole is in the center of the top display and is very small. The overall visual effect appears to be very good.
Gizchina News of the week

On the rear, this device comes with a camera module that adopts a new vertical design. However, it retains the iconic dividing line of the previous version, separating the three lenses. Also, there seems to be a periscope telephoto lens. There are speculations that the render is a top model of the series.
In other respects, the Redmi K60 series will continue to launch models with multiple gears. This means it the series will continue to use different chips. We expect a model of this series to come with the Snapdragon Gen 2. Other chips to expect are Dimensity 8200, Dimensity 9200, and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It is reported that the brand-new Redmi K60 series will meet with you as early as December this year. Not surprisingly, this machine will be the last “flagship welder” this year. We will have to wait for more details.
