There are many reasons why you should buy an electric car. For starters, owning an electric vehicle offers a practical solution for commuters and car owners having a hard time raising gas prices. Next, embracing sustainable automotive technology can be fun – especially with this off-road electric car from Alibaba.

In this article, we are featuring another weird vehicle from the biggest shopping website in China. Now, if you are looking for a great online buy that you will not forget, this bizarre product from Alibaba can be an excellent pick.

For Sale: Alibaba Electric Pick-up Truck

This 4-door off-road mini pickup truck, which Electrek first spotted, seems to belong in a safari park.

The truck is equipped with a full-length extended roof rack, a rear mesh rack for safe storage, a roof light bar, tubular doors, a skid plate, and optional running boards, in addition to the front bumper guard with fog lights.

Yes, this mini electric car comes with running boards. This is in case your children need help climbing into the mini-electric truck.

The truck has two passenger capacity options: a four-seater setup and a two-seater one. This means you can take friends and family with you on an off-road adventure. How fun is that?

It does not mean that it looks like a 4×4 off-road automobile that it is one. The same report from Electrek tells us that the electric motor mounted on its rear axle does not allow it. But do not worry; a rear-wheel drive truck can work just fine. This mini truck does not have a driveshaft tunnel, so you have an entirely flat cab floor.

More to Know

As for its motor, it runs at 4000W, which is the standard threshold for Chinese electric vehicles of this size. But it is important to note that it is just its continuous power rating and that its peak power can be up to 6500W.

This truck can run at 45km/h, which is okay for an electric car with such power. Now, that is about two-thirds as fast as a Cheetah which cruises at about 68 miles per hour if you plan to race against one soon.

This truck’s batteries are 72V 100Ah lead acid batteries. The vendor claims a range of 120 km (75 miles) with the original batteries. The truck’s remaining features are outstanding, especially considering the modest $4,500 purchase price.

You can check more about the details of the electric truck here. Purchasing the product comes with lead times of up to 30 days as the product ships from Guangxi, China.
