Alongside the Xiaomi 13 series, Xiaomi has also announced the Xiaomi Watch S2 in China. The successor of Watch S1 offers an AMOLED display and comes in 46mm and 42mm sizes. The Xiaomi Watch S2 boots MIUI OS for Watch and can last for up to 12 days on a single charge.

The Xiaomi Watch S2 is capable of tracking 100+ sports modes in addition to regular tracking features such as sleep, steps, and more. It also packs a speaker and a microphone. Let us take a closer look at the Xiaomi Watch S2 price, specifications, and features.

Xiaomi Watch S2: Price

The Xiaomi Watch S2 comes in two sizes and two variants. It is available for purchase in China. Check out the pricing,

  • Xiaomi Watch S2 46mm (with Silicon Strap) – RMB 1099 (approx Rs 13,000)

Xiaomi Watch S2: Specifications and Features

The Xiaomi Watch S2 features a circular AMOLED display with a 466 × 466 pixel resolution and supports Always-on display functionality. The 42mm variant offers a 1.32-inch display with 353ppi pixel density. Whereas, the 46mm variant offers a 1.43-inch display with 326ppi pixel density. The leather variant of the Xiaomi Watch S2 offers sapphire glass.

The Xiaomi Watch S2, under the hood, packs a heart rate sensor, a blood oxygen monitoring sensor, a temperature sensor, a capacitive sensor (for wear detection), and an ambient light sensor. Xiaomi has also equipped the smartwatch with an accelerometer, a gyroscope, an air pressure sensor, and a geomagnetic sensor.

With these sensors, the Xiaomi Watch S2 can track over 100+ sports modes in addition to regular sleep and fitness tracking. There is also a bioelectrical impedance sensor that helps users monitor their body fat rate, bone salt content, basal metabolic rate, and more.

The Xiaomi Watch S2 42mm variant comes equipped with a 305mAh battery unit which can last up to 7 days on moderate usage. Whereas, the 46mm is backed by a larger 500mAh battery and can last for around 12 days on a single charge as per the company. It is water resistant up to 50 meters.

The Xiaomi Watch S2 42mm comes in two colour options – Black and Gold. Whereas, the 46mm variant is offered in Black and Silver colours. Xiaomi has also launched a range of silicon and leather straps for the Xiaomi Watch S2. It packs a speaker and microphone (Bluetooth calling and Xiaoai voice assistant).

Talking about the connectivity features, the Xiaomi Watch S2 features NFC (for payments), GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo. It relies on Bluetooth 5.2 and can be paired with devices running iOS 12.0 (and above) and Android 6.0 (and above).
